One Shot Araldite
If I need to stick something back together I always use Araldite, because it works.
So when I needed a new tube last week I bought one in Tesco, instead of the usual twin tubes, adhesive and hardener, it came in a syringe. I thought that looks a great deal easier to measure and mix.
It wasn't until I got it home and read the packet properly that I discovered that it could only be used once. After that the whole things gunges up and goes in the bin.
Quite apart from the fact that I paid £1.49 for enough glue to fix one item (because at the time that was all I needed), at a time when we are trying to be greener and use less isn't this a shameless waste of resources.
